يوم الشجرة
الشجرة هي رمزٌ للخيرِ والعطاء ، وهي رمزٌ لكُلِّ ما هو نباتٌ حيٌ اخضر، يرفدُ الكونَ بالظلالِ والجمالِ ، وهي رمزٌ للسواعدِ القويةِ التي تزرع ، وهي تعني عملية ولادة لكل ما هو جميلٌ من رحم الارض .
يتم الاحتفال السنوي بيوم الشجرة في كثير من دول العالم المختلفة ، عن طريق القيام بزراعة الإشجار ونشر التوعية المجتمعية بأهمية الأشجار ودورها في الحفاظ على البيئة وحمايتها وضرورة العمل على زيادة الغطاء النباتي الأخضر بما يعنيه من أهمية حيوية في إحداث التوازن البيئي والذي تأثر بشكل خطير نتيجة للتلوث الذي احدثه الإنسان في العصر الحديث نتيجة للثورة الصناعية.
وعليه، تحتفل (AMACC) كغيرها.. في هذا اليومِ العالمي الجميل ، من خلال المشاركة العملية بكافة كوادرها وموظفيها في زراعة الأشجار والإعتناء بها ، وهي بذلك لا تتوانى عن المشاركة بأي نشاطٍ أو واجب يعود بالنفع على المجتمع والبيئة ككل ، حيث تترجم ذلك من خلال الأنشطة والفعاليات التي تقوم بها دائماً ، منطلقة من عقيدتها الراسخة للمشاركة في كلِّ ما هو جميلٌ ويبعث الأمل والخير للجميع، ذلك أنّ المحافظة على البيئة وسلامتها هو من صميم عملها ورسالتها ، وهي بذلك تشبه ما تقوم به (الشجرة) من بذلٍ للعطاء وتقديمِ ما هو نافعٌ للبشرية، ولا تختلف كثيراً في مهامها وواجباتها عن الشجرة رمز ( الخير والعطاء ) ، حيثُ أنّ هناك قواسمٌ مشتركة، وتقاطعاتٌ جَمَّة بين المهام الانسانية التي يقوم بها الفريق العربي الاستشاري لاعمال الالغام من خلال فريق التوعية من مخاطر الألغام و المخلفات الحربية بهدف التقليل من الإصابات والحوادث نتيجة الالغام والمخلفات الحربية وما تقوم به (الشجرة) من التقليل من انبعاث الغازات السامّة ، فهي تزرع الأمل في النفوس كما تزرع الشجرة في الأرض وتنبت الخير للجميع.

(International Tree Day (Arbor Day
Tree is the Sample of Good and Giving, it represents every green living, which provides world with beauty and shadows, it’s the model of powerful arm that plants, tree is illustration of giving birth for all stunning things born from Earth womb.
Every year different countries celebrate Arbor Day in different dates through planting a lot of trees and delivering awareness sessions that guided societies to raise up their knowledge about the importance of trees and its role in protecting the environment, in addition to encourage procedures aiming to keep and increase green areas due to its vital role of attaining ecological equilibrium, which inappropriately affected by recent human activities after the industrial revolution that poisoned the ecosphere and ate up wide green areas.
We at AMACC, in this international day, contributing all of our staff, took this opportunity to help planting new trees and taking care of our valuable green life mates.
Moving from AMACC Social responsibility which encourages us to highly contribute any kind of events that support the community and the environment in general, starting from its philosophy and through reflecting and translating this pledge by all its actions, which releases hope and common good.
We believe that AMACC is somehow like tree, this comes from its dictum: “Saving our environment is our motivation, and caring for the nature is our Message”. It is fact that AMACC motto agrees with tree picture, which offerings common good to all creatures, A symbol of ( Giving & Good ).
We strongly believe that there are many intersections and common denominators between what AMACC currently doing and what really Tree represent, AMACC through its humanitarian activities which include but not limited to Remnant Explosive of War Victim Assistant(VA), by reducing their suffering and rehabilitation programs, seems to be like a tree in reducing pollution , as both of them giving hope and drawing smiles over faces, We both AMACC & Trees give hope for beautiful future and safe environment for current people and the coming generations .
