Barakat Mustafa Mubarak is a highly experienced operations with a distinguished background in military and mine action operations. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Ajloun National University and a Bachelor’s in Military Sciences. With over 20 years of service in the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF), particularly in the Royal Engineer Corps (REC), Barakat has specialized in Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and Improvised Explosive Device Disposal (IEDD), earning a Level 3+ EOD Technician certification.
He has extensive hands-on experience leading high-stakes demining projects in Kuwait, Libya, Syria, and Iraq. As a Project Manager with Arab Mine Action Consultancy Crew (AMACC), he has overseen key projects such as Battle Area Clearance (BAC), Non-Technical Surveys (NTS), and Risk Education (MRE) operations, contributing significantly to humanitarian demining and risk reduction. His leadership roles span from managing operations teams to training and capacity building for local personnel.
Barakat has also been recognized for his expertise in risk management, having completed certifications in ISO 31000 Risk Management, ISO 14001 Environmental Management, and several advanced military and mine action-related courses. He is proficient in GIS technologies, security risk management, and quality control within mine action operations.
