MR. Barakat Mubarak is a Technical Advisor at Arab Mine Action consultancy Crew (AMACC) since 2014.

Barakat Mubarak is a seasoned professional in mine action and explosive ordnance disposal (EOD), with over 22 years of service in the Jordan Armed Forces/Royal Engineering Corps. His extensive military career included leadership roles in EOD, IEDD, and military demining operations across Jordan and internationally. He has participated in United Nations peacekeeping missions and liaised with multinational forces, gaining valuable cross-cultural experience.

Since 2022, he has served as the Manager of AMACC’s Kuwait office, where he oversees the company’s operations and ensures the successful execution of AMACC (Kuwait Environmental Remediation Program (KERP)) projects. His responsibilities include project follow-up, client coordination, and quality assurance to maintain compliance with international mine action standards.

Barakat holds a bachelor’s degree in English and Military Sciences and a master’s degree in business administration. He is a certified EOD Level 3+ Technician and a member of the International Association of Bomb Technicians and Investigators (IABTI). With his strong leadership and problem-solving skills, he continues to contribute to the safety and stability of communities impacted by explosive remnants of war.
