MOHAMMAD ALGHODRAN

TECHNICAL ADVISOR/ JORDAN
MR. Mohammad ALGHODRAN is a Technical Advisor at Arab Mine Action consultancy Crew (AMACC) since 2020.
 
He studied bachelor’s degree in physics in 1996 and in military science in 2014 from Mu’tah university. He also has a master’s degree in military and Defense Studies in 2015 from Australian National University (ANU).
 
ALGHODRAN retired as a Colonel after 28 years of service in the Jordan Armed Forces/Royal Engineers Corps (JAF/REC), with extensive experience in EOD/IEDD, including the establishment of the Army EOD/IEDD unit, enhancing its capacity, and building its capabilities. Held key positions such as IEDD Deputy Company Commander, EOD Company Commander, Operations Officer, and EOD Unit Deputy Commander. Actively involved in military demining operations in Jordan under the supervision of the National Committee for Demining and Rehabilitation (NCDR) and served as Engineer Battalion Commander with the Border Guard Forces. Additionally, served as Chief of the Operations and Training Branch at the REC, Commander of the EOD Wing at the Royal Engineering School, and Engineering Staff Officer with the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS). Also led a demining team during Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.

 

ALGHODRAN is proficient in both English and Arabic, with excellent reading, writing, and speaking abilities in both languages. He has Advanced computer skills include expertise in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

 

ALGHOFDRAN completed extensive training and certifications across various disciplines, including mine action, explosive ordnance disposal, and engineering. Highlights include the ARCP Mine Action & Global Agendas Workshop (GICHD, Jordan), IEDD/EOD Level 3+ (AMACC, Jordan), C-IED “Train the Trainer” Course (NCO Academy, Hungary), and the Engineer Captains Career Course (US Army Engineering School, USA). Additional qualifications cover quality management, post-blast investigations, and environmental officer training, alongside specialized courses such as Advanced Explosive Ordnance Disposal (Belgian EOD School, Belgium) and Mine, Countermine, and EOD Course (Turkish PFP Training Center, Turkey).
