AMACC ACTIVITIES IN IRAQ
Currently AMACC accredited and providing capacity development support concerning in the following activities: Demining, BAC, TS QA-QC IED QA-QC Mine Risk Education MRE Victim Assistant (VA) Underwater clearance/ survey operations

AMACC has registered in 2012 and operationally accredited in 2013 in Iraq  to support and provide the essential experiences and skills to the impacted Iraqi provinces of mines and explosives remnants of war, through commercial, humanitarian projects and training, teaching the civilians in the impacted communities to mitigate the remaining threat of conflicts and wars represented by ERW. AMACC was established by most efficient and qualified staff in mine action through their participation in different relevant courses inside and outside Jordan, working in mine action program in Jordan and implementing IMAS and NMAS.

AMACC successfully implemented over than seven contracts in four years. Services can be provided individually or be used together to suit any requirement and are underpinned by a rigorous ISO 14001, ISO9001 and ISO 18001 accredited quality management system that is based on International Mine Action Standards (IMAS). These also form the basis of AMACC SOP, which result in market leading standards of efficiency, quality and safety. In recent years, we have provided a full spectrum of services to the oil and gas and seismic industries, in areas such as the southern Iraq. AMACC have professional teams of international advisers and locally well trained deminers to support operations.

The vision of AMACC is Iraq is to be a country free from the threat of landmines and explosive remnants of war, where individuals and communities live in a safe environment, conducive to development and where the needs of mine and explosive remnants of war victims are met and where victims are fully integrated into their societies.
