Ahmad Mahmoud Muhammad Al-Jarrah
Ahmad Mahmoud Muhammad Al-Jarrah, director and founder of the Arab Mine Advisory Team, was born in Al-Mazaar, Irbid, in 1960. He grew up in the town of Al-Mazaar in a Jordanian family of eight, being the third child of this esteemed family. His father worked as a police officer in the General Security Directorate. Al-Jarrah married at the age of twenty-four and had four daughters and two sons. He completed his primary, preparatory, and secondary education in his hometown, then joined the Jordanian Armed Forces in 1979 as a military trainee, finishing his service in 1999 after twenty years in the Royal Engineering Corps.

AMACC is an entity has integral approach which include both a profit and non-profit activities which consists of a group of experienced individuals working in Mine Action in Jordan. This team represents operations officers, quality management officers, technical advisors and EOD experts.
Although our experiences are different, all AMACC team is united by a passion for what we do. We believe that Mine Action is not a static field of work but rather a dynamic domain that should adapt to the needs of each country working always in accordance with international mine action standards.
Middle east and North Africa region (MENA), as one of the most conflict prone-region, MENA as a recurring feature in the international politics, academic, and current news coverage. Long years of upgoing sensitive security situation , dated back of Arab -Israeli conflict , Gulf wars , which was classified as one of the most bloodiest conflict worldwide , recently and as a result of butterfly effect (chaos theory), MENA witnesses random creative chaos, what was called “Arab Spring”, that unfortunately led to imprudence situations drag region into struggles and warfare.
